Arne ter Laak is The Lumberjack. It all started with working in the woods, with chainsaw and ax. After years of lumberjacking and maintaining a little forest he started making objects. Driven by a vision of coarse logs and geometric shapes. Art pieces he made, using wood from cut trees. Gradually, he moved to furniture and design, using sawed, shaved, sanded wood. The driving forces stayed the same, wood and geometry.
